Greek Day, Election Day, Mascot Project......

Hello Friends,
We've managed to fly through another week. We've been learning about multiplication and division, levels of government, and linking verbs. We also started our case study on mascots. We will be holding a 'primary' election to determine our mascot choices and then the children will be organizing a full fledged election for the whole school in the next month!

A few reminders:
*RRJ are due every Monday. Please ask your child to show you their response. It should be dated for the Monday due date and your child will always know if there is a specific assignment, otherwise they can respond in any way they choose. This week, I'd like to see a venn diagram that compares and contrasts two books, characters, or precepts. We have practiced this in class.
(We will be starting non-fiction tomorrow so you will see new types of responses.)
*The reading calendar inside of the RRJ needs to be filled out weekly as well. The title of what your child is reading should be written on at least 5 calendar days.
   * The Save the Turkey Project is due next Friday. 11/14
   * The Thanksgiving Luncheon invitations were sent home last week. Please reserve your spot if you plan to come! It is on 11/20 at 12:00.

And of course....photos!!
